Answers to common questions about booking, paying, cancelling and selling on EventsPH.
Draft — pending legal review
Add a venue and suppliers to your event plan, then check out once. Packages marked instant book are confirmed as soon as your payment arrives. For the others, the vendor has 24 hours to accept your booking; if they decline or don't answer in time, that vendor's share is refunded to you.
Payments are by QR Ph, processed by Maya. At checkout you get one QR code for everything due now; scan it with any QR Ph app — GCash, Maya or your bank's app. The QR code and your dates are held for 60 minutes. On a phone, tap "Save QR" and upload it in your app.
Cards, online banking and over-the-counter payments are not available during the pilot.
Each vendor sets a deposit of 20%, 30% or 50% and a balance due date of 7, 14 or 30 days before the event. You can pay the deposit now and the balance later, or pay in full. If the balance due date has already passed when you book, you pay in full.
We remind you by email, and by SMS if you've verified your mobile number, 7, 3 and 1 days before the balance is due, and you pay it from My event with a new QR code. If a balance is still unpaid 72 hours after its due date, the vendor may cancel the booking, and that counts as a cancellation by you under the vendor's policy.
Sign up as a partner and upload your accreditation documents: SEC or DTI registration, a current business (mayor's) permit, BIR Certificate of Registration (Form 2303) and a valid government ID of the owner or authorised representative. Venues also need a Fire Safety Inspection Certificate.
Our team reviews each document. Once you are accredited you can publish listings and take bookings.
Listing is free. EventsPH keeps a commission of 10% of each booking's value, deducted when we pay you out — so if a booking is refunded before payout, no commission is taken back from you. [to be confirmed: VAT and official receipt or invoice model]
The deposit becomes due to you 7 days after the booking is confirmed; the balance 3 business days after the event, unless the guest reports a problem before then. Due payouts are paid in a weekly run by bank transfer to your verified payout account, minus the commission. You can follow every payout in Payments & payouts and download a CSV statement.
Send us a message and our team will get back to you by email.
EventsPH charges no service fee at the moment. If that changes, the fee will always be shown before you pay.
Open My event, choose the vendor and select Cancel. Your refund depends on the cancellation policy the vendor chose — Flexible, Moderate or Strict — and how many days are left before your event. We show the exact refund before you confirm.
The service fee is not refundable when you cancel.
Yes. Start from My event.
If a vendor declines your booking request or doesn't answer within 24 hours, we refund what you paid for that vendor automatically and suggest similar vendors. Your other bookings stay as they are.
You get a 100% refund of everything you paid for that vendor's booking, and we help you find a replacement for your date. EventsPH recovers the money from the vendor — you never wait for that.
During the pilot, refunds are sent by InstaPay or bank transfer to an account you give us. When a refund is created we ask for the account name and number; your refund is on its way within 1–3 business days after you give us those details.
Once refunds through Maya are switched on, refunds may instead go back through Maya. We will tell you which applies when your refund is created.
If PAGASA raises Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 or higher, or the government declares an emergency, covering the event location on the event date, you can reschedule free of charge within 12 months, with no penalty for you or the vendor. If no date works, you are refunded what you paid minus the vendor's documented costs, which can never be more than the deposit.
Report a problem from My event until the day before the vendor's balance payout is due — at the latest, the day before the 3rd business day after the event. The vendor's payout is put on hold while our team looks into it, and we may refund part of what you paid.
You can review a booking once it is completed, for up to 90 days after the event. Our team checks every review before it is published, and the vendor can reply once. Contact details in reviews are hidden.
The AI Planner suggests venues and suppliers that fit your brief, in a few options at different budgets. Its suggestions are only a starting point: prices always come from the vendors' listings on EventsPH, not from the AI, and nothing is booked until you check out. Please check the details before you book.
Signed out, you can try 1 plan; after that, sign in to keep planning. Signed in, you can start 10 plans and ask 50 follow-up questions a day. The AI Planner may sometimes be unavailable; you can always browse venues and suppliers yourself.
24 hours. If you don't accept or decline in time, the request expires and the guest is refunded. Instant-book packages are confirmed without waiting for you.
Only an owner of the partner account can change it, from Settings, after signing in again. Every owner is notified of the change, and payouts pause until EventsPH verifies the new account. If you didn't make a change, contact us right away.
The guest gets a 100% refund of what they paid for your booking. If we have already paid you for it, the amount is recovered from your future payouts. Repeated cancellations may lead to your account being suspended.
You pick Flexible, Moderate or Strict for each listing; EventsPH defines what each one refunds. The tier in force when a guest books is the one that applies to that booking.
